Casa Barbiere Hvar is a newly built Mediterranean stone house located in the historic center of Jelsa on the island of Hvar.

Completed in 2023, the house was designed with great attention to detail, combining traditional Dalmatian architecture with modern comfort and luxury. Natural materials, warm Mediterranean tones and carefully selected details create a relaxed and elegant atmosphere throughout the house.

Although Casa Barbiere is located in the heart of the old town, it is situated in a quiet and peaceful street, offering complete privacy and tranquility. The lively waterfront of Jelsa, with its restaurants, cafés, bakeries and local shops, is just 3-4 minutes walking distance from the house.

The nearest beaches and crystal-clear Adriatic sea are approximately 7 minutes walking distance from the property.

Casa Barbiere comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, making it perfect for families or small groups of friends. For guests traveling with children, we provide baby-friendly equipment, including a baby cot, high chair and other essentials to ensure a comfortable stay for the whole family.

The ground floor features a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining area and living room, creating a bright and welcoming space for relaxing and spending time together. A guest toilet is also located on this floor.
On the upper floor, there are three beautifully designed bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, offering comfort and privacy for all guests.
Outside, guests can enjoy a private swimming pool, sun loungers and a spacious outdoor dining area. The summer kitchen and large dining table create the perfect setting for long Mediterranean dinners and relaxed evenings.
The outdoor dining space is covered by a remote-controlled retractable awning, allowing guests to enjoy the terrace both in the sun and in the shade.
For guests arriving by car, private parking is available directly next to the house.

Located in the heart of the island, Jelsa is the perfect base for exploring Hvar. All of the island’s most beautiful beaches, historic villages and viewpoints can be reached within 10 to 30 minutes by car.

At the same time, Jelsa is a compact town where guests often don’t need to use their car at all. Restaurants, cafés, bakeries, small shops and beaches are all within easy walking distance.

Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and lavender fields, Jelsa reflects the traditional Mediterranean lifestyle that has shaped the island of Hvar for centuries. Local wines, olive oil and fresh seafood remain an important part of everyday life here.
